A Tree is Nice and oil pastels

During or tree celebration, we read A Tree is Nice by Janice May Udry.  We then used our oil pastels to draw our own trees, in the style of the book.

Ava drew a "talking tree". I love the face on her tree!

This is Ava's finished "talking tree". She added many colors.

Ethan drew a beautiful autumn tree.

Sophie's favorite kind of tree is a tree with a swing.

One of our favorite tree songs is from Sing a Song of Seasons by Mary Thienes Schunemann.  It goes like this...  It is the perfect song to sing and move to.
